Cutting-Edge Infrastructure for Mission Success

Conti Federal is currently constructing an F-35A Flight Simulator Facility, to enhance the operational readiness of the 301st Fighter Wing at NASJRB, Fort Worth. This state-of-the-art facility includes a 20,000 square foot simulator building and a 33,729 square foot, two-story Squadron Operations/Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) building, designed to provide advanced training capabilities for F-35A pilots in a fully immersive simulated environment.

The Simulator facility, constructed with a reinforced concrete foundation and a structural steel frame, houses four Full Mission Simulators in a secured area, providing realistic, high-fidelity training environments. The facility’s design incorporates 4-inch split-face masonry exterior walls, insulated glass windows, and laminated interior panes, all of which adhere to the antiterrorism standards outlined in UFC4-010-01. Additionally, the building features secure communications, secure storage, computer equipment rooms, debriefing rooms, and maintenance rooms, ensuring that all training functions are executed with optimal efficiency and safety.

The adjacent two-story Squadron Operations/Aircraft Maintenance Unit building supports the 301st Fighter Wing’s mission. On the first floor, the AMU features essential spaces such as equipment maintenance areas, a ready room, administrative offices, and locker rooms. On the second floor, the Squadron Operations area includes a large secure space that meets the stringent requirements of UFC 750 standards, as well as an open and collaborative environment with flight operations desks, conference rooms, and support areas.

Located at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) Fort Worth, the project is integral to the continued success of the U.S. military’s joint operations. As the first Joint Reserve Base in the U.S., NAS JRB Fort Worth serves as a hub for Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, and Texas Air National Guard units. The base plays a pivotal role in training air crews and aviation ground support personnel for a range of critical missions, including airlift, aerial refueling, and global mobility—making it an essential component of the nation’s defense infrastructure.

This project underscores Conti Federal’s commitment to delivering mission-critical infrastructure that empowers U.S. military personnel and ensures they are equipped with the training, tools, and facilities needed to succeed in today’s dynamic defense environment.
