Scope
Israel and the United States have shared common construction interests since 1988, when the Israel’s Defense Minister Ariel Sharon and American Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger signed a memorandum of understanding in 1981. The goal of mutually strengthening each nation’s security continues today. The United States Army Corps of Engineers called for the construction of two new facilities at this Israeli Air Force Base in Southern Israel.
This project consisted of new construction of multiple buildings on an Israeli Air Force Base in support of the F-35 beddown program mission. Conti Federal managed concurrent complex logistical efforts at multiple sites on an active military installation without disruption to base operations by coordinating with base personnel daily.
Conti Federal constructed both facilities simultaneously around active military base operations. The new, above-grade, high bay one-story building houses various training spaces.
